Our Story

From Friends to Foodpreneurs: The Journey of Moodie Foodie

Moodie Foodie was founded by Sourabh Kumar Singh and John Sachin Khalkho, childhood friends from Bacheli who reunited to follow their entrepreneurial dream. Despite thriving in their respective careers, they always shared a passion for food and the ambition to create something of their own.

Their journey began with a simple idea: to craft a restaurant that caters to every foodie’s cravings with a diverse menu featuring authentic Indian, South Indian, Tandoor, and Chinese dishes. From deciding the location to arranging staff and setting up operations, Sourabh and John turned this dream into reality within just seven days, proving that passion and determination can create magic.

Education: BE in Mechanical Engineering, RIT College Raipur (2014)

Professional Background:

    • Lecturer at CAT Academy for 8 years.
    • Currently working as a Designer Engineer in a fabrication company.      Sourabh brings his analytical mindset, leadership skills, and love for good food to the Moodie Foodie family.

John Sachin Khalkho

Director

Education: MBA in Marketing

Professional Background:

    • Former employee at TCS, Bangalore.
    • Currently working in the marketing field of books.

With expertise in marketing and a creative vision, John ensures Moodie Foodie stays ahead of the curve.
